Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 13, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Westline Windows ("we," "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on www.westlinewindows.com (the "Site"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your browser or device. They help the website work, keep it secure and remember information about your visit. Similar technologies, such as scripts and local storage, work in a comparable way. In this policy, "cookies" covers all of them.
Cookies set by the website you are visiting are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by another company's service on that website are called third-party cookies.
How we use cookies
Strictly necessary cookies
We keep cookies to a minimum. We use strictly necessary cookies to run and protect the Site, chat cookies so our live chat works, and analytics cookies from Google Analytics and HubSpot to understand how visitors use the Site and to follow up on inquiries. With your permission, we also use advertising cookies from Meta and Google to measure and improve our ads. You can change your choice at any time through "Cookie settings" in the footer.
These cookies are needed for the Site to work and to keep it secure, so they cannot be switched off in our systems. They do not identify you personally.
Chat cookies
Our chat is built into the Site and does not set its own cookies or store your answers in your browser. If we turn on HubSpot's live chat, HubSpot uses the cookies below to make it work, and only for that purpose.
Preference cookies
Apart from the chat and cookie-choice cookies listed above, we do not currently use preference cookies. If we add features that remember other choices, we will update this policy.
Analytics cookies
We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors use the Site and to improve it. Google Analytics uses the cookies below to collect information such as the pages you view, your device and browser type, your approximate location (estimated from your IP address), the website that referred you, and how you interact with the Site (for example clicks, scrolls and downloads). Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. The information is reported to us in aggregate form. Google processes it on our behalf, and we do not sell it. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.
We also use the HubSpot tracking code. HubSpot is our customer relationship management (CRM) and live chat provider. Its cookies record the pages you visit on the Site and your visits over time. If you submit a form or start a chat and give us your email address, HubSpot links that activity to your contact record so we can follow up on your inquiry with the right context. For more information, see HubSpot's Privacy Policy.
You can stop Google Analytics from collecting information about your visits by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by blocking or deleting these cookies in your browser settings (see "How to control cookies" below).
Third-party services
Advertising cookies
We use the Meta Pixel and the Google Ads tag to measure and improve our ads. They only run, and the Meta and Google cookies below are only set, after you click "Accept" on our cookie banner. If you click "Reject," or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, they stay off. You can change your choice at any time through "Cookie settings" in the footer. We use Google Consent Mode v2 to pass your choice to Google. Google Analytics storage is on by default in the US; in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland it stays off until you accept. The Westline items below are first-party browser storage used for our own campaign measurement and to remember your choice.
Some third-party services on the Site may receive information from your browser even when they don't set cookies:
- Webflow hosts the Site and processes form submissions. According to Webflow, it does not add tracking cookies to the websites it hosts.
- Google Analytics collects information about how visitors use the Site, as described under "Analytics cookies" above. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- HubSpot is our CRM and live chat provider. It loads its tracking, chat and cookie-choice scripts on the Site, receives the information described above, and records form submissions on the Site so they reach our CRM. See HubSpot's Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts delivers some of the fonts used on the Site. Your browser connects to Google's servers to download them, which shares your IP address and browser information with Google.
- Links to other websites (such as LinkedIn) are ordinary links. Those sites may set their own cookies if you visit them, under their own policies.
We do not control third-party cookies or technologies. Please check those providers' own policies for more information.
How to control cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you:
- see which cookies are stored and delete them individually or all at once
- block third-party cookies
- block all cookies from specific websites, or from all websites
- delete all cookies when you close the browser
To learn how, see the "Help" section of your browser, or the browser maker's support pages (Google Chrome, Apple Safari, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge). Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Site, such as our forms, from working correctly. Blocking chat cookies may stop the live chat from working or remembering your conversation. Blocking analytics cookies will not affect how the Site works.
To opt out of Google Analytics on all websites, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Changes to this policy
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting or Global Privacy Control (GPC). We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals: when your browser sends one, advertising cookies (Meta Pixel and Google Ads) stay turned off for you. You can still block Google Analytics and HubSpot cookies at any time using your browser settings, or Google Analytics using the opt-out add-on described above.
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example if we add new tools to the Site. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the "Last updated" date above.
